Using Firebird 3.0.1 on Windows 7, I noticed that an active wifi connection
needs to be established in order to connect to localhost.
Without a wifi connection I get error: Unable to complete network request
to host “LocalHost”. Failed to locate host machine. The specified name was not
found in the hosts file or Domain Name Services.
As soon as I connect to the internet, I can also connect to the localhost
(and my database).
But I do not understand this, the database is just on the hard drive of my
PC so no internet connection should be needed.
I use default configuration files.
Any help please?
Kind regards,
Robert
