Hi, I have just recently updated firebird from 2.5.2 & 2.5.4 to 2.5.6, and
since updating have noticed large increase in db corruptions (4 out of 100
server installations within 1 week)
The error message i getting is Internal Firebird consistency check
(decompression overran buffer (179), file: sqz.cpp line: 228)
I have been able to sometimes reproduce the error by doing a windows
restart during a large update transaction (it seems to happen on the 2nd or
3rd restart) i have also worked out that this appears to a problem in 2.5.5
& 2.5.6, using version 2.5.4 i haven't been able to reproduce it.

I just wondering if this is a bug within firebird or a problem with
software talking to firebird.
Thanks
Richard
