No, this is not the solution. One of the firs things I do when I install my application is to create firewall rules for ports 3050 and 3051. In this case I even deactivate the firewall but nothing changed.

My english is not perfect, but I can´t write in portuguese!

Olha aqui já tivemos esse problema. Apenas liberamos as portas do firebird  no firewall do Windows server 2012 funcionou.
Libera as portas 3050 e 3051 tpc e udp, entrada e saída, tenho certeza que vai funcionar.

Desculpa mas não escrevo muito bem em inglês então escrevi em português mesmo.
