I'm using Firebird 2.5.2 and on the machine in question have created two databases late last year.  Using Isql, I put the CREATE SCHEMA in with credentials and get this message back.

Statement failed, SQLSTATE = 08006
connection lost to database

Note that I can query the other two Dbs, run inserts etc.  I've turned off my anti-virus, and have run the command window with escalated privilege.

So then I tried it with FlameRobin, - 0.9.3.5  and get this error:

SQL Mesage : -902
Unsuccessful execution caused by a system error that precludes
successful exectuion of subsequent statements

Engine Code  :335544721
Engine Message:
Unable to complete network request to host "localhost".
Error writing data to the connection.

Any help would be appreciated
