Subject AW: [firebird-support] Using Firebird with MS Access
Author Olaf Kluge
Hello Gerhard,

Please read my answer at the bottom below the question. This was asked by Himanshu Bahirat. We have the same idea and result :o)

Hello Olaf,
you have to usein win7 or win8 the 32-bit odbc
manager(c:\windows\SysWOW64\odbcad32.exe)

1. install the Firebird obc driver, you find it on the Firebird webpage
2. use the Odbcad32.exe to make a System-DSN entry for your firebird
database
3. in Access you can then connect to this database

best regards
Gerhard
