Hello Olaf,
you have to usein win7 or win8 the 32-bit odbc
manager(c:\windows\SysWOW64\odbcad32.exe)
1. install the Firebird obc driver, you find it on the Firebird webpage
2. use the Odbcad32.exe to make a System-DSN entry for your firebird
database
3. in Access you can then connect to this database
