Depending on the options you took during installation, there will also be a copy of it in the WINDOWS directory and also possibly one renamed to gds32.dll. You might also find a copy of the 32-bit one in \WINDOWS\SysWOW64. Check that the build numbers of the files in the Windows directories match the build no. of your server. If not, then it's anyone's guess how they got there.
