Hi
I am currently in the throws of installing Firebird on a new PC. The PC is several generations newer than my previous PC (intel quad compared to a pentium 5). I will be moving to a 64 bit Ubuntu 12.04 operating system.
I have previously been using Firebird 2.1 on a 32 bit Ubuntu operating system and wish to use version 2.5 on the new 64 bit machine.
Now the million dollar question. Will the databases I have created in Firebird version 2.1 on a 32 bit operating system work on version 2.5 using a 64 bit operating system.
Thanks
Michael
