Got three questions:

1) Is it safe to access a 1.5 fdb from a 2.5 firebird client?

2) seems to me, if you want to have fb client in OS X, you have to install the server, is there a package that simply installs the client? reason for this is, there is already an existing 1.5 firebird server running in a linux box, I need only client in a OS X computer, possible?

3) Similar to #2, but for Centos linux.
