My ODBC connections to a linux server stopped working after installation of Rad Studio XE3 (I believe). I have just reinstalled the latest Firebird ODBC driver (Firebird_ODBC_2.0.1.152_Win32) onto my Windows 7 box, but no change.
I do not have copies of Interbase on my machine, and my firebird client is fbclient.dll. I am trying to connect to Firebird 1.5 running on a linux box.
My connection string is:
##.##.##.##:/Data/DatabaseName.FDB
The same connection string works with IB Expert, so I don't think it is a syntax or port conflict sort of issue.
My head hurts
