Hi,

I have used firebird 2.12 for development in my windows xp machine.
Now, I unistall firebird 2.12, rebooted the computer.

I downloaded Firebird-2.5.2.26539_0_Win32.exe - "Windows executable installer for full Superclassic/Classic or Superserver, recommended for first-time users".

When I try install Firebird-2.5.2, the weird problem happens. The initial screen of the installer appears for a few seconds to choice the language for instalation and disappears next. I have no chance to go ahead and proceed with the instalation.

I have norton internet security and I already tried disable it before firebird install, but the problem continues.

I downloaded the file many times to discard a corrupt download and the problem also continues.

If I try install again firebird 2.12 there is no problem.

I know I have the manual option instalation but I´d like to avoid it.

Does someone can help me, please?
