I see that there is an ODS change from Firebird 2.1.3 to 2.5 and that to change ODS on the database you need to do a backup and restore, but I'm wondering what happens if we don't do the backup and restore and run 2.5 on the older ODS database? Will it cause corruption or other problems, or will we simply not see all the benefits of 2.5 until we also do the backup and restore?
