Yes, I think that's what Maik suggested, but in a RAID 5 config. Our
hosting company may be able to let us try SSD:s for a while without any
other costs than the regular monthly rent. They did that for 8 Gbyte
extra RAM - no initial/setup/config cost.

I'll investigate. Whatever changes we make, I'll try to post some
performance figures here. I have some batch runs that I know approx how
long they usually take.
