Hello,
I have various instances on my development machine. An 2.1.4 instance is
listening on port 6050. I want to run nbackup through this particular
instance with nbackup of 2.1.4 by executing:
C:\Firebird\Firebird_x86_214_6050\bin\nbackup.exe -u sysdba -p masterkey
-T -B 0 localhost/6050:tpch_scale1_8192_fb21.fdb
TPCH_SCALE1_8192_FB21_full_0.nbk
All I get is:
Failure: Error (3) opening database file:
localhost/6050:tpch_scale1_8192_fb21.fdb
It doesn't make a difference if I use the absolute database path instead
of the alias name.
When I run the backup through an instance listening on port 3050 through
localhost:tpch_scale1_8192_fb21.fdb, then everything works fine.
Is this as designed?
Thanks.
