Not 100% sure, but the modified date won't change until it is completed
disengaged from by FB. If any user stays logged in, even though the database
is updated, the system won't change the modified date since it can't
finalize (close) it, or something like that. That's what I've noticed on
most Windows systems anyway.
Backing the database up shouldn't be a problem since it doesn't require
exclusive access.
