I have recently been made aware that a client's firebird 1.5 database has not been backed up for over a month!
Firebird 1.5 DBMS was installed on a Win 2003 server and when I remotely logged in, I noticed that the "Modified Date" was over a month old.
That is weird, since this is their main corporate database and they use it every day.
I thought that maybe someone had turned Forced Writes to OFF but I just checked the properties and it says that Forced Writes are ON.
I need to back this up... but now I am very frightened that if I go about this incorrectly, I may lose over a month's worth of production data.
Any ideas and help are very appreciated!
