Hi,
This is probably a known issue, but in case it is not...
Testing FB 2.1.4 install
If you tell FB to run as an application and to auto-start. The installer adds a
registry entry to
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run but the path to
FBServer.exe is not quoted. It is stuck in as:
C:\Program Files\Firebird\Firebird_2_1\bin\fbserver.exe -a
Consequently it will not autostart after a reboot. The control panel applet
won't fix it either.
FWIW, I'm sure this worked in a prior rev of FB since I always run with this
configuration. At least since 2.1.2. But I've not gone out and checked it in the
registry until now.
