The delta file I meant to be started by gbak but maintained by the firebird service.

So anything after the snapshot transaction gets appended to the delta file as well.

Then gbak restore finalizes the delta file.

Just an Idea.

BTW. it is up to our network guys to get IBPheonix in. Not my ball park. However I will suggest it to them.
