I'm only seeing 'student assessment and record-keeping'. I don't think either of
these packages actually record raw music, Auralia actually say 'microphone
optional'.

I can see why the IT department may be stating these requirements ...

misleading, but the addition of some data on the sort of size of database being
handled would be useful.

Peter - Networking is only to read and write data to the database. If Microsoft
are demanding payments for simply handling our data then that is another reason
for using Linux instead for any server :)
