Yes, I've solved the problem decreasing the value of DefaultDbCachePages in firebird.conf and restarting the service. The computer is a Windows XP 32 bits (only 2Gb of virtual memory for firebird). Maybe the error message is a little bit confusing.

Hi,

It's a memory problem.

Firebird is not able to address more than 2GO on 32 bit.

I experienced this error with superserver on Windows 2003 when trying to connect to a second database with plenty of connections on the first database.

Could you give us more details about your configuration ?

Perhaps, transactions not committed properly and eating RAM.
