Hi,
It's a memory problem.
Firebird is not able to address more than 2GO on 32 bit.
I experienced this error with superserver on Windows 2003 when trying to connect to a second database with plenty of connections on the first database.
Could you give us more details about your configuration ?
Perhaps, transactions not committed properly and eating RAM.
