Thanks, I had forgotten that was a recommended step. I looked and had
not seen the registery key, but then realized it is different on Windows
7: "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Firebird Project\Firebird
Server\Instances". I took your suggestion and renamed it to
SavedDefaultInstance. A quick test shows it working fine.
