- Is the Firebird server running?
- Can you ping fbserver.fb.com.au
- Can you telnet fbserver.fb.com.au at the port the Firebird server is
running?
- Any firewalls involved, which might restrict the network traffic?
- Are you using Firebird events somewhere?
