I have the firebird installation program saved in a nfs mounted location for access from multiple sites. When I run the firebird -install command to install firebird I get a error message that the srdb location is not local and can not be installed because of this reason. I know it needs to be local but I need to know how to edit/set the path to my local directory instead of the nfs mount.
AND/OR
I have also installed firebird 2.1.4 using the rpm from the EPL site. It installs with all its dependencies but how do I invoke this to run/install? Where should I see this install? Which firebird returns nothing but yum tells me that its install correctly.
Any help would be appreciated!
Thanks
