Subject Firebird's .NET provider is not listed while creating connection string
Author Rohit Coder
While creating a new connection string for my .NET 4.0 application, the Firebird's .NET provider is not listed in the available providers even after installing it.

Visual Studio 2010 is only displaying the default providers that comes with it. It does display "Other" option, but when selected it opens a dialog to enter DSN name through ODBC.

How to integrate Firebird's.NET provider into Visual Studio? I added reference to the necessary DLL, but it is not coming in the list.

Regards,
Rohit.
