Subject Suddenly not able to access UDF library FreeUDFLib.dll
Author Chuck Belanger
Hello:

I reported in another thread about a problem accessing various functions
of the UDF library FreeUDFLib.dll after upgrading from FB 2.1 to 2.5
SERVERS. I went 2.1 embedded to 2.5 embedded to 2.5 server run as an
application.

Kept getting the following error:

Invalid token.
Invalid request BLR at offset 60
Function<> is not defined.
Module Name on entry point could not be found.

As I stated, the functions are readily seen in IBExpert/IB_SQL, but on executing SQL which has them I get that error.

Well, after Alan's message and more attempts, I decided to uninstall
everything, delete the folders and start over. It's my lap top which I
use for seminars and presentations, not my clinic use. I uninstalled FB
server and deleted those directories, too.

On reinstall of the full application (uses FB 2.1 embedded), I got the
same UDF function errors! What is happening here? The program has never
had problems with accessing these UDFs in that particular library. This
is the same setup that we use with about 55 people and no problems like
this.

What makes this frustrating is that I'm trying to get an update together
for everyone and am concerned that somehow that caused this, but I have
no idea how any effect it had would carry over after deleting all the files.

Does anyone have any suggestions or help?

Thank you,

Chuck Belanger
