Update.

I've installed Firebird 2.5 in a virtual machine.

Gbaked my database from 2.1, restore in the 2.5 and the case statement is now working everywhere.

Maybe a 2.1 bug that just occour with me?

If it works with ISQL but not with other tool, then either
the other tool is buggy, or you put by mistake some
control or national characters.
