Have a 113 GB database file that shows the above when we attempt to do anything with it.
It is a 1.5 version and, although I may using 1.5.6 to check it, there is no version difference in the Firebird Servers (other than maybe a point difference).
Used IBFirstAid from IBSurgeon to check the internals and all went well. However, the final steps in their maintenance is to to a backup and restore. We get the same error as above.
Next, I am going to remove FB 1.5.6 and install 2.x and see if the file can be opened. But, again, that server has been running for several years on 1.5.x.
HELP!
Any way we can even HEX edit the file to change the ODS to 10.1 or so? Any other way to fix this very large file?
