Hi. I've installed Firebird 1.5.6 on Windows Server 2008 32bits but I can't
connect with databases on this server.
If I install Firebird 2.1 on the same server, it works good.
I uninstall 2.1 and reinstall 1.5.6 and I cann't connect to databases again.
I have review:
- Firewall
- Firebird.conf parameter
- Installed as system administrator
- databases on local hard disk
- path to database
Nothing, I can't connect. The error I receive is: cannot attach to services
manager
I try to do: gsec -user SYSDBA -password masterkey
And I get: unaviable database
I don't know what could I do?. I have reviewed all parameters, and I don't
know why firebird 1.5.6 doesn't work on WS2008.
I have seen on internet that people saids it can work, but I don't know how
to do it.
I think the problem is in Firebird 1.5.6, because with Firebird 2.1 it works
good. The problem is I need to use firebird 1.5.6, I don't want to use 2.1.
Some suggesion?
Thanks in advance.
