yes, for now that we use the FB2.5 (even the snapshot not RC2) the server is much more stable and faster than with the 2.1. In fact in 2.1 we was closed to change firebird to mysql ! :(
In 2.5 the bug we have in FB 2.1 is still present but FB2.5 not freeze anymore, making it look like more stable (it's was a really nightmare in 2.1)! ... i really hope the last snapshot will correct definitivelly the bug (thank again vlad!)
