cool it please.
There are 2 things being referred to here.
1. access to a list of users
2. classic never providing it.

1. If you want to manipulate security2.fdb you need to take it offline and
like a normal database, modify the permissions of the users view. Then place
it back on line.

2. classic has never been a good candidate for this king of licensing
protocol.

this change to security has been here ever since V2 - it's along time so
it's hardly something which has been 'sprung' on anyone.
