hi,
I've installed firebird on my opensuse 11.2 box. Installion wasn't a problem but when I restart my computer evertime I have to run following command to run fbserver (superserver).
sudo /etc/init.d/firebird start
I have read a lot on the subject of init.d scripts. Then I put a symlink into /etc/rc5.d/.
cd /etc/rc5
sudo ln -s /etc/init.d/firebird S12firebird
The thing is fb still resists to auto restart. What shuld I do next?
regards
