What does a "gstat database_name -r -t MYDB_USERS" command result in?

I'm wondering is it's possible that you have a lot of record back

Have you run a sweep recently? gfix -sweep database_name and then tried
again?

Just a couple of thoughts that may help.

Cheers,
Norman.
