hello,
In our database, to speed some query, we "C" the data by creating some new "redondant" tables.
Now the probleme we face, is that gbak use also the data store in these tables, and it's took more than 3 hours lost just for these "unsefull in backup" tables.
We do the backup everyday as a security precaution, so the option to delete the table before the backup is not possible.
the option to store theses table in other database is also not possible (i think, but confirm me if i m false) because these table are updated by trigger raise on one master table (as i say we simply denormalise the data)
so is their an option or an idea of how to skip these table from our daily backup ?
thank you by advance
stephane
