Learn the muscle-power of scripting your DDL - not least its ability to maintain a trail of database documentation that you keep to fit your own needs and the others' who will still be there when you leave. Poking in a bit of ad hoc DDL here and there through an interactive interface is not notably the most robust way to develop a database structure.. :-| It's astonishing how quickly you forget why you did that thing...
