Hi, You can move directly.

All You need is to backup Your database using FB1.5.

Reinstall FB to 2.5

Restore Your backup using FB2.5
But You have to use additional switch -FIX_FSS_METADATA XXXX
instead of XXXX use Your favorite character set - maybe UTF8
