Find security2.fdb then copy to the other folder but you must stop the firebird's service. After you upgraded your firebird system. Copying security2.fdb to firebird folder files.

Hi,
Is there a step by step guide to upgrade a server from 2.1 to 2.5.
I tried this yesterday as follows:-
Backup databases using 2.1
Shut down FB Server
Upgrade FB Server to 2.5
Restore Databases (fixing Malformed strings in the process)

All seems OK except I've lost all my Users.
How can I migrate these?
