Couple of things I'm still confused on regarding 64-bit. Thanks for your
patience!

I've installed FB 1.55 on a Win 2008 Server x64. This is a 32-bit app.
FreeUDFLib.dll resides in the UDF folder. I stopped and restarted the FB
service.

Question: should the FreeUDFLib.dll (32-bit) work in this scenario? It
doesn't appear to be as I'm still getting the warnings.

64-bit FB only appears to be available on the Linux platform. Is there a
64-bit version coming down the road? :-)

Also, what would it take to recompile FreeUDFLib into a 64-bit DLL? But if
FB is not 64-bit, I probably don't need this? (I can't see a 32-bit app
loading/using a 64-bit .dll)

Again, thanks for your patience from a 64-bit newbie. This is extremely
important to me as my main application relies heavily on FreeUDFLib and I
have to remain on the 1.5.x FB for a while.

Kevin

Hi,

If you are using 64-bit FB, then you must use 64-bit UDF library. You can
install 32-bit FB and it will work OK on your 64-bit OS.
