4 servers - identical(?) V 2.1.2
reboot all four (after 4 weeks uninterrupted service)
ONE (only one) reports errors WRT UDFs - entry point not found bla bla
backup restore log from previous night no error - try B/R cycle, error on
restore BLR, entry not found etc. Hmmm
selects with UDFs from remote interface produces same error.
it's possible to drop UDF and recreate it with no error.!!!!
but select again produces error.
finally discover no gds32.dll file on system32 DIR (or bin DIR).
place a copy there (system32).
NO ERROR!
Now question:
Why does the server need a copy of the client library in system32 DIR to
avoid this error, ie. find the udf lib in /UDF dir.????
Why does it not report an error that it cant find client lib?
