We are using FB version 1.5 and have been waiting for version 3 with multi-processor support.

What is the status of multi-processor support in whatever next version?

We have nearly 600 station and are about to grow a lot more. And we are happy so far with the performance of version 1.5x for our application. But, we are trying to decide whether to move to 2.x or wait for 3.x before the next growth spurt.

Anyone has a site that has test results of speed and reliability of 1.5 vs 2.x vs the next version? Is the move from 1.5x to 2.x recommended or encouraged for speed and reliability reasons?

If version 3 is not expected for another year or so, should we stay with 1.5, move to 2.x or wait for version 3?

This will be a major chore for us so thanks for your opinions.
