Is it possible you have increased the amount of CachedDBPages to a very
high value? If so, then try lowering it.

Subject: [firebird-support] Memory problem, isc_attach_database failed





Hello

RDBMS 2.0 .. to latest.
We have database which have 8 secondary files.
First file size is 1,73GB and secondary file sizes are 8KB (all eight
secondary files).

Now the situation is that we get following messages: isc_attach_database
failed with SQL message 904 (Unsuccesfully execution caused by an
unavailable resource.), Engine Code 335544430 (unable to allocate memory
from operating system).
We have tried open database in several computers but no luck.

Is there anything to do or have we lost all data?
