Hi,
I have a FB 2.5 database created with charset none.
In the fields with default values, when the value is not ANSI compatible (Greek in my case) and the value is applied the result is unreadable, both by the client software I use (IBExpert) with charset win1253, but also by the rest of the database, since it is not recognised as a valid input when the field is part of an FKey.
when the same value is inserted either directly in an insert statement, or in a trigger, there is no problem.
any suggestions very welcomed and appreciated
