I well understood that this kind of message is caused by server os tcp/ip stack. Under windows, we can get the message text by this command:
net helpmsg 10053

Question:
Does Firebird server is able to indicate wich attachment (ip, user, etc. ...) is concerned with lost connection ? May be it could be a start point to understand what happens ...
