Hi all,
for the Demo Version of my application I use Firebird 2.1.2 Embedded.
The application directory has these files:
intl\fbintl.conf
intl\fbintl.dll
fbembed.dll
firebird.msg
icudt30.dll
icuin30.dll
icuuc30.dll
IDPLicense.txt (of course)
IPLicense.txt (of course)
Microsoft.VC80.CRT.manifest
(MyApp).exe
msvcp80.dll
msvcr80.dll
The database is located in a sub-folder of {CommonAppdata}
Now a prospect installed that and when trying to create the database
(this is done by the program) or when trying to connect to a database
file that I sent him, he always gets the 335544375 unavailable
database message. System is Windows XP.
I am completely unable to reproduce that error. The Demo is working
fine on XP and even Vista and Windows 7. When the proper access rights
are missing, there is another error "no permission for read-write
access". So I think it has nothing to do with access permissions to
the database file.
Does anybody have a clue what's going wrong here?
Regards
Stefan
