Hi, after trolling the news groups now for a few hours, it would appear that it is simply not possible to get the milliseconds at the cliet end, using standard Delphi TField data type, a la TDateTimeField. I've found a few references that talk about the "os tm" not storing millisecond information. I'm not exactly sure what "os tm" stands for.. Operating System Time Module?!?!
Anyway, before I start to hack our code, I wanted to double check that this is the case... That regardless of what I do (using IBX based comps in Delphi7) I won't be getting millisecond information.
If that is the case, then I am left scratching my head and will store the issue next to the "why in the world doesn't FB have a logical field type".
cheers,
-randall
