Hello all together,
I am new in the field as well as on ubuntu/linux as on the field
databases. My problem is following: I installed ubuntu as new OS on my
notebook instead of MS Vista. Afterwards I tried to install Firebird 2.1
Super und Flamerobin on the PC. The installation via Symantec worked
fine. But when I try to get connection to an existing database via
Flamerobin (as root) I am getting the errormessage that a Connection
could not be established.
When I looked up the running processes, I found no FB process at all.
Can you give me some hints how to install it right? Thank you all in
advance.
Christian
