That could be one single Classic process expanding its cache too much once in a while and breaking the camel's back. Properly configured Firebird Classic servers don't display that behaviour. Misconfigured servers often do. We know for certain that you have db cache memory on your server misconfigured. Your misconfigured system might or might not be the direct cause of the corruption. Fix that first and then see how it goes.
