Could it be 192.168.1.100 is not available at clientside?
Or, could it be you have set and left active a designtime location for
your database?
Try to show the databasename in a before-connect event to see to what
location the client is trying to connect.
Last option: any firewall-software installed, mostly included in virus-
and malwarescanners that intercept connections?
