Subject AW: [firebird-support] Classic Server
Author Robert Dollinger
Hi,

yesterday I made the same test on Ubuntu Server and Windows Server 2008 runninng as Virtual machines.
Ubuntu Server with 384 MB and Windows Server 2008 with 512 MB of Ram. With both OS there were no problems
to open 450 connections. Conclusion it is WinXP that blocks the connections.

bye
Robert

Can't help you here.. hope someone more experienced do.

All I can tell you is that XP is not suposed to be used as a network server.
I've used Windows2000 and 2003 to host FB 1.5 Classic with more than 200
simultaneos connections without problems.
