On a 64-bit Dell server (RH Enterprise), when I try to write the
Makefile for DBD::InterBase, I get:

skipping incompatible /opt/firebird/lib/libfbclient.so

and make fails.

I've done this 50 times on other servers. Any ideas? I've spent an
entire day on this.
